What it costs
What it costs.
Ranges, not tags.
A custom rod’s price is a function of three things: the blank and hardware the spec calls for, the hours the wrap and finish take, and the fact that one builder makes every decision from the first email to the hand-off. The ranges below are starting points. The consultation turns them into a number.
Inshore
$650 and up. Light-to-medium action conventional and spinning builds — bay work, light saltwater, live bait and lure. Fuji or American Tackle hardware, single or two-tone wraps, cork or EVA grips turned to spec.
Bluewater
$1,100 and up. Heavier conventional builds for offshore and rough-water service. Premium corrosion-resistant hardware, reinforced wraps, grip shapes built for sustained fights. Spec complexity and component tier drive the range upward.
Signature
$2,200 and up. Full bespoke work with decorative wraps, inlays, exotic materials, and spec elements that take the bench hours the work asks for. Each Signature rod is priced to its build; there is no ceiling.
The consultation is the place where the spec and the number get decided together. There is no charge for the consultation, and no obligation after it.
